With over 18 years of experience across banking, business development, veterinary consulting, and national-scale property services, Michael Knab brings a rare combination of financial acumen, operational leadership, and strategic advisory expertise to the real estate and technology sectors.

As Executive Vice President of Advisory Sales at TreeIQ, Michael built and led a national advisory platform focused on transforming reactive tree management into proactive, data-driven portfolio strategy. He partnered with some of the country’s largest property operators to reduce liability exposure, improve asset performance, and optimize capital allocation—delivering measurable ROI through structured assessments, GPS-based data collection, and scalable operational planning.

Michael’s ability to translate complex field data into executive-level decision-making frameworks has positioned him as a trusted advisor to ownership groups, asset managers, and institutional stakeholders.

Prior to TreeIQ, Michael served as a Veterinary District Manager at Royal Canin, where he managed and grew a network of over 130 veterinary clinics. There, he refined his consultative approach—working alongside medical professionals to implement science-backed solutions while driving sustainable business growth. This role further strengthened his ability to build trust in highly specialized, credibility-driven environments.

Earlier in his career, Michael spent nearly a decade in banking with institutions including U.S. Bank, First Financial Bank, and Park National Bank, where he rose to Assistant Vice President and Branch Manager. He specialized in small business lending, commercial real estate finance, and cash flow strategy—developing a strong foundation in underwriting, risk analysis, and growth-oriented financial planning.

Michael also brings experience from the staffing industry as a Business Development Manager with Accounting Principals, where he advised organizations on talent strategy, organizational structure, and long-term hiring solutions.

Today, as a leader at Liminal Softworks, Michael applies this diverse background to help organizations bridge the gap between operations, data, and scalable systems.
